Both WD and Segate drives are covered by a limited warranty - not specifically mentioned on the manufacturer's website, but can be confirmed by the manufacturers.

  •   Unit replacement/repair typically takes 2-3 weeks.
  • QNAP offers Advanced Replacement Service (ARS) for time-bound warranty, purchasable at device purchase or within 90 days.
  • PNP provides optional warranties post the 90 days purchase of device also , based on estimated spare part costs.
  • PNP offers case-specific Next Business Day replacement service, on site service for QNAP also as additional purchase.

WD WARRANTY FOR UAE

All WD and UltraStar drives we offer come with Western Digital's specified Limited Warranties. It means that in the first year, you are eligible for a full replacement.
Subsequent years entail a declining value replacement, as outlined in the provided matrix.

Seagate WARRANTY For UAE

  • Only Hardware replacement is covered under warranty.
  • Certain products ( like Skyhwak, Skyhawk AI, Ironwolf, Ironwolf Pro) also offer 3 years Data Rescue. To avail the data recovery attempt with Data Rescue service , the end user must register the drive at seagate Rescue portal.
  • Time required for replacement is about 2-3 weeks
  • If the same product is not available then a replacement or refund is offered

 


Synology WARRANTY

  • For Devices not covered by a warranty contract, the usual time required for repair is 2-3 weeks
  • You can buy additional Extended warranties . Such Warranties can only be bought at the time of Initial Purchase, or within 30 days of the purchase.
  • PNP Offers Optional Warranties even after 30 days of purchase. Such Warranties are sold on the estimation of Spare part cost that might be incurred in case of failure
